12/31/2018 0 Comments A fresh New yearHappy New year! 2019 and life just continues to improve.
I said ‘goodbye’ to last year full of appreciation by taking a bush walk up a mountain with my best animal friend, (Sheeba the dog) to watch the sunset. Sheeba and I said ‘hello’ to the NY at dawn on a deserted beach with lots of swimming and playing. I keep seeing posts on social media about everyone happy to see the end of 2018? Not to rub it in anyone’s face, but 2018 was an amazing year for me full of love, laughs, travel, learning, creating and adventure. I am not saying that there are no bumps along the road, of course there is, that is life. I guess I just don’t allow anything to bring me down. This is a skill I have been working on for years. Learn from the mishaps and tradgedies, look at things in a positive way, see the humour in everything. This is where I use the beauty of nature to keep my soul and mind in a safe space. Bugger living in a big city again with all that busy, chaotic, ego energy. We are all here on a journey, just taking different paths. Your attitude is everything. Be generous, accepting and grateful, with others but also yourself. Enough with the cliches you have heard it all before, easier said than done I hear you think. Not really, just make a decision, you are in control of your own mind. What you choose to do, think, feed yourself. Every choice is yours. Life is supposed to be happy and fun, and no matter what situation you find yourself in, you must find your joys or you will be eaten up by anxiety, stress and negativity. This year I have some big goals. We are moving to the other side of Australia. Lots to do and plan before that. We have been in WA for 6 years, and it will be so sad to leave this land that I am absolutely in love with but the excitement of an adventure and reconnecting with old friends and new unexplored places is the focus. All will work out as it is meant to. Last year my partner and I started focusing on keeping our giving banks full. This year I want to continue this focus and give everyday. Even if it is just a simple compliment or smile to a stranger who looks like they need a lift. Give and never expect anything in return. It makes the heart sing! I am going to face my doubts and become a marketing weapon. I am going to take this business to the heights I dreamed about 2 years ago. Rejection will not phase me or allow me to second guess myself. I am not inferior to any body else. Stay tuned.......
